Mental Health and Addiction
The Mental Health & Addiction Program at CLI College provides in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in treatment theory and practical applications. Coursework includes interviewing techniques, relapse prevention, and crisis management.
About this Programme
Mental health counselling typically involves treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health disorders. Addiction counselling, on the other hand, focuses on substance abuse disorders, such as alcoholism, drug addiction, and other addictive behaviours.
A mental health and addiction counselor can help individuals suffering from mental health disorders and addiction achieve recovery and improve their quality of life. It is the role of counselors to identify underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and manage symptoms with their clients.
Your role as a counselor is to provide compassionate and effective care that helps clients recover and improve their mental health. After completing our Mental Health and Addiction program, you can find employment in the following fields:

Course Delivery
Assignments, tests and classes will be done at the college. Timetable will be communicated on enrollment.
Admission Requirements
You required to have:
- A minimum of Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) academic qualification of any discipline (Art, Commercial or Science).
- You must be 18 years and above.
